Aggressive Inline Skater

Money & Outlook

Insider Info

Professional aggressive in-line skater Chris Haffey says that pro aggressive in-line skaters do not make much money -- between $3,600 and $24,000 a year. This is not a career to get into if you're looking to get rich! You have to love the sport and be realistic about how much -- or, how little -- money you'll make. It might be best to just skate because you love it, stay determined and see what happens. But never lose sight of the fun.

"Only a select few people can claim to be living like adults from the money they make off rollerblading," says Nick D'Amico. He's an aggressive in-line skater and editor of the Canadian Roll website.

"What I mean by 'adults' is actually paying for a car and living arrangements. There are a few pros that have branched off to own their own companies, which also helps their financial situation, but for the most part I would say that those making enough money to live a comfortable life are fairly limited."
